Terry Winter remains as inscrutable as the grand show he writes for. He delivered bare minimal info on how/why/where, but, as with the show, enough:
Chase heard that chicken song ONCE in the 80's and remembered it for 20 years later? So that's how he does it.
It was "organic" that Bobby die in a model train shop. Just like Chris getting strangled by his nose. Or Sil gunned down at the Bing (surprise: not IN the Bing, as we might expect and as Phil's guys intended; outside in the parking lot. Beauty.)
Sometimes, it is not that organic, but it "fits." Big Pussy appeared to Tony in a dream as a fish; all the better to dump him at sea (yes, I know where he sleeps.) Ralphie and Tony fought "in the most dangerous room in the house" (the kitchen, as Richie Aprile also found out.) Ade's solemn execution in the woods was connected to Carm's plans for a spec house in similar woods.
The Raging Bull music was just to reference Raging Bull, huh? And Winter despises "Godfather III"? Then maybe Meadow's safe.
I wish he'd offer us more here, but its hard to guess how much would be enough. Thanks for dropping by, Mr. Winter, and congratulates on your classic. It will be remembered.
