The handling of this is purely racist

The article stated "The injustice here is not that they are being prosecuted for their crime—it is that the many other wrongs that preceded the assault have been inadequately addressed."
Well what exactly is meant here by "inadequately handled"? Whites go home and Blacks serve 22-year sentences? That's not a mishandling that's pure racism.
And please stop comparing the nooses incident with the beating. Of course they are not comparable, one is carried out and the other is not. To compare apples to apples you need to look at the incidents in which white kids jumped a black kid and the one in which the Jena 6 jumped the white kid. Exact same crime. The 2nd one is Attempted Murder, the 1st one was....well nothing. Where is the equality in that?
And if you want to talk about justice, know that justice should be above all, if it's only above one group, it's not justice anymore, it's racism.
I do understand that 2 wrongs don't make it right but if only blacks are used to make it right, there is definitely more than 2 wrongs in that equation.
Justice is not going to be re-established simply by ending the lives of these kids to show other black kids a lesson, the LA police will aslo have to arrest the white kids accused of the same crime and give them the same punishment. Now since we all know that's never gonna happen, i say let these kids go, they've already been through hell.
