Free the Jena 6? No way. One of the 6 hit the kid. They should admit it. That's what the protesters should have been asking for as well. That would have gone a long way toward demanding accountablilty and would've got more white support for their other grievances.

Wow!!! The facts speak for themselves, the young man that was attacked, was released from the hospital that same day. Later that eveing he was able to attend a party. I don't think for one second what the boys did was right, but to subject those young men to these trumped up charges is absurd. The young men have the right to remain silent, and I can't blame them for using that right. After all they don't live in the most fiendly place.

I can use the same flawed logic to make the opposite argument; Why does the media NOT point out that the white student was attacked from behind and knocked unconscience by the first blow of the attack which was to the back of his head? If you consider that the white student was knocked out and unable to protect/defend himself the entire time the "Jena 6" kicked and stomped on him what other intentions other than killing the guy could they have had?

I don't think that people fight one another to kill them. I have fought with my brothers and sisters and my INTENTIONS were never to kill them, but to stop them from whatever they were doing.
