Terrible New Format of In Other Magazines
by Adam Stevens
+1 Reply

I hope and pray that Slate will revert to the old format of In Other Magazines. This is easier for the interns, of course. They have to read a helluva lot less. But there's a tenth the content there used to be.

With this format, I can no longer rely on Slate to actually tell me what's "In Other Magazines." I could understand adding this feature as a supplement, but to replace the information about what, well, is in other magazines is yet another sign of the decline in Slate's editorial quality.

Why not add this "new feature" as a supplement?

I second that. Stick the "must read of the week" and something like "weirdest peice of the week" at the top and and return to the old format. This sucks

I just created another topic about the same subject, not knowing someone else already created one. Sorry about the repitition.

Well, I couldn't agree more with the above statements. Please bring back the old format.

I agree. Understand the idea, but ultimately totally uniformative. Please go back.
