IT in "A Wrinkle in Time"
by jlm
I too loved this book when I was a girl. And like most girls identified with Meg and her problems. So when Ms. L'Engle died, I went out and bought and reread this book. This time around Meg's problems didn't seem as all encompassing as I remembered, but still important, but the most amusing thing (to me) was that I read "IT" as "eye tee", as in information technology. Definitely not my read the first time, but found the "eye tee" version worked just as well this time.

Ditto your post. Also, like you, I think the "eye tee" version fits very well.

Spooky or what?
