That Israel has enough nukes to end life in the Middle-East is more or less a fact, is it not? I mean I wouldn't want to find out for sure, but I think a few hundred bombs spread out between the Mediteranian and the Persian Gulf would make the area unlivable for a long time to come. I think all he is trying to say is that Israel is a military and nuclear power far above any other in the region and that they aren't a helpless victim, not that they want to take over.
