Feedback on the new Fray.

Hmm. Posted today for the first time in awhile and I have a few observations:
1. Thanks for getting rid of the MS disasterware. Nice to log on and actually GET on without having to click around for awhile and sacrifice to the net gods.
2. Preview feature doesn't work. Whoops! No evident way to edit a post either. Can delete, but then have to change a few characters in the title AND message body to repost when I catch one of my own mistakes. Bad workaround.
3. Post went into a general discussion forum, rather than staying attached to the article I was referencing. Whoops again! Deleted and reposted, but still not in a place specific to Hurland's "Call of the Wild" article. Not good.
4. My old posts - some real gems in there! - were deleted along with my old account. Kinda cold, don't you think?
I don't know where the Fray fits into your business model, but it was the real reason I liked to log onto Slate from time to time. Once in awhile I even met cool people who enlarged my perspective. I'd like to do that again. To make it happen, you'll need to encourage intelligent people to post. Making it easy and fun and intuitive is key.
Otherwise, please keep up the good work.
