Nancy Pelosi delivers! One Republican voted for it. (220 Ayes - 215 Nays) Can't wait to see the names of the Dems who voted "No."

that is very bad news for american taxpayers
by redtide
but I am sure that human debris freeloaders will be very happy
as expected only ONE Republican voted for it
by alameda929
Joseph Cao was the lone Republican (Louisiana) to vote in favor of it. The party of "no".

US to vote no on obama care

We'll see.
lets all hope so
by redtide
because we really do not need to allow obama to punish US the way he is trying to
And in this case...
by ErictheRight
the party that carries the will of the MAJORITY of those polled.
What survey, what poll?
by alameda929
As you know, there are so many. It wouldn't matter though, Republicans want no bill. We'll see what the Senate does, should be very interesting.
"Us"? You mean the insurance companies and Pharma companies?
by LT-7

Sorry, people who need healthcare generally aren't companies.

If Congress knows what is good for it, it will do something for the people, not the special interests.

That would be passing some healthcare reform that insured PEOPLE and not companies.

US = Those Americans who actually pay their fair
by redtide
share or more then their fair share of taxes
Re: WOW!!!! that was sooooo close....

I didn't think we would make it...[me of little faith]...but watching them vote was really exciting!!!!!!!!

"From New York City, to Chicago, down to San Francisco Bay....They'll be laughing, singing, music swinging and dancing in the street

This is an invitation across the nation the chance for folks to meet
There'll be swinging, swaying, music playing and dancing in the street"

I better put on my dancing shoes....the band is starting to play..

Great night and good night Ms Ann

Didn't see the latest from CNN?
by ErictheRight

I bet you've heard of them...

<link>

CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll. Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2009. N=1,018 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.

"From everything you have heard or read so far, do you favor or oppose Barack Obama's plan to reform health care?"

Favor 45%

Oppose 53%

Unsure 2%

so you favor a public option?
by warden
the majority of americans do and you seem to be all about the will of the people

I'm thinking about turning into that "human debris". It'll be more practical.
