They fail to field memorable (or even outrageously annoying) TV commercials or hardcopy ads. I, at least, can't really claim I remember seeing one, and I am quite sure I've seen Carl's Junior, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, In-and-Out, Chipotle, KFC, Panda Express, and a host of other fast food advertising. Maybe, Arby's has a guy going door to door and he just hasn't reached my block yet.
