I believe people should work and support themselves, sure. But expecting me to keep paying for for people who refuse to get insurance, even if they can afford it, and then can't pay their hospital bills is ridiculous, and quite frankly, I'm surprised republicans are against ensuring that people are required to get health insurance. I'm assuming this is what Boehner was alluding to the other day by calling the HCR an affront to freedom.
