Because the mass-murderer guy refused to have his picture taken with women. So whenever they took office photos, they had to do his separately.

The part I don't get is, if he was "just" depressed personally & didn't want to serve in Afghanistan, why not just take his OWN life? Why take out a dozen innocent soldiers & one civilian, and wound how many more? What a bizarre tragedy and so, so unnecessary.

(Makes one wonder if perhaps there aren't more motives for his bizarre acts the other day?) And if he survives and goes on military trial and faces those consequences, he may end up wishing he HAD gone to Afghanistan & served there, no?

The only regret is that she missed his head, but at least she brought him down and stopped the carnage. She deserves our gratitude and respect.

Well, investigators are going through his computer quite carefully. But I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a whole combination of things -- not wanting to go to Afghanistan, being harrassed for being a Muslim, PTSD from listening to returning vets in his job as a psychiatrist, his growing religiosity -- who knows what else. I think it was a year ago he asked to be released from the service. Some are questioning his superiors for ignoring his requests.

And which "animals" would that be, Jack? -- he was born in the USA of immigrant parents.

According to you, we should only allow Christians and Jews to join the service? Or perhaps only people whose ancestors came to this country on the Mayflower?

Muslims, MA, Muslims. I can't be any clearer than that. They are animals. Their religion is heathen...born in hell and will one day return there where it belongs. Islam is our enemy.
