Kati it's very politically correct of you to say so, but in fact he was following the dictates of Islam as were all the suicide bombers in Israel, Iraq, and Afghanistan who have killed thousands of innocent civillians. Not to mention the millions of Moslems who publicly support them. Pretending that a problem doesn't exist won't make it go away.

It is not true that all violent terrorists are psychopaths. Most have very little in the way of a criminal history which is necessary for that label. Most are actually disciplined narcissists with much better self control than a true psychopath. What was the prior criminal record of the "Magnificent 19" of 9/11? Hasan had absolutely no history of major psychotic mental illness that we know of nor criminal record prior to this act. He was a Muslim fanatic but that is not a diagnostic criterion for anything in DSM.
