Please keep bashing, attacking, & belittling Tea Partiers!

Especially if they happen to be from Virginia and oh, I dunno, maybe New Jersey. Go after these hard working, well-meaning citizens with everything you libs got! That's right, lash out with unrestrained hatred and borderline dysfunctional attacks. Remind them how essential Pelosi Healthcare is to their well being and how Cap & Trade is a really, really good thing for businesses everywhere.

Don't disappoint me. You haven't so far!

Bring more posters of dead Jews piled up at Dachau for us, they represent your group as mainstream.

Alright, we'll keep attacking. Thanks for letting the Democratic party reframe the GOP as a bunch of racist conspiracy loons. Keep fuckin that chicken!

I assume you do not realize you make yourself out to be a thoughtless, radical zelot with your attitude of calling the GOP as racist conspiracy loons. Only the most fringe left-wing truly believe that, the majority of the people in this nation see right through it. You're screaming 'you're a racist' at the top of you lungs when it's evident to most rational people that you have no basis in your cries will only want to distance themselves from you fanatical viewpoint. You're belief that the Democratic party is having success at framing Republicans as racist conspiracy loons only serves to prove the point you've been blinded by idiology. So good luck with that.

The Freak Show We Live In

It's a pretty unhappy commentary that it has to be reported as news that people are taking issue with the use of pictures of the Dachau death camp as an illustration of the horrors of health care reform. But, alas, such is the world we're living in. Today Rep. Steve Israel (D-NY) criticized Rep. Bachmann for the Holocaust imagery --- and really, what the hell is going on here? People carrying banners with Dachau and the crowd chanting "Nazi, Nazi" when the President and key Dems are mentioned. And GOP leaders just stand their whooping it up like it's all good stuff?

Mainstream? You betcha!

Why do you think that there are only 20% of voters identified as republicans? If you were right the tables would be turned. More and more republicans are reregistering as either democrats or independents.

You sly guy, you almost had me there for a sec. I read your post and thought, wow, OldGaffer's sentence structure and overall writing skills had improved about ten-fold overnight in clarity and readability. Then I clicked on the link and realized you copy/pasted something written by a hack at TCM.

Bummer.

the Tea Partiers!
by jazzguitarman

What are the top 5 policy issues of concern to a tea bagger?

Really I wonder what you think their main specific concerns are.

jazzguitarman: What are the top 5 policy issues of concern . . .
Do jazz guitarists even care about such things? I mean, like, really? Any blues/jazz guitarists I've ever known usually ponder weightier subjects, such as trying to recall the names of the band members in Vanilla Fudge when they played the Fillmore back in '68.

I'm an artist and I care about political issues. So I guess you really don't care about policy issues so the libs here are right when they can tea-bagger are mostly clueless and their main issues are that Obama isn't an American, Obama is a commie, Obama is run by ACORN, and other BS.

Ok, so you don't know 5 policy issues; how about 3?

take a step back
by jazzguitarman

Can we all take a step back and see that there is truth to both sides here.

Conservatives clealry have legit issues, like fiscal restraint, and of course a most are not racist, BUT, there is a hardcore segment that is clearly racist (even if borderline), and just down right nuts. The GOP and the conservative movement isn't helped by morons like Beck that says Obama hates white people. Come on, be honest, that clearly was a race baiting comment. I have to assume the main purpose of that assine comment was to fan the flames of those cons that are racist. i.e.to stir up white anger towards a black President.

So I also say 'good luck with that' if the GOP feels that someone like Beck will help their cause.

Wow, and I thought Ihad you fooled into thinking I wrote that and added those links and all. Good job of sidestepping and ignoring the message though.

There is alot of blinding going on with talk of racism, birth certificates and socialistic encroachment.

Tom, you are probably surprised when you don't minds in political discussions. Maybe your hysterically crying hyperbole, if you've the stones to examine it objectively, only betrays that you want to admit that the GOP is fine the way it is. Obviously, it's not.

Hard working, Bam? Many of those teabaggers seemed to be long past their working years and are only trying to make sure that no one gets national health care...except them.
