I think that we must lighten up on the jihadists, especially home grown types like Major N. He is the victim, not the 13 that died. He was forced into the military to be able to get a free ride at taxpayers expense and fast tracked to Major in only 6 years. He told everyone he was a lunatic jihadist, and knowing that liberals would give him a pass, did what he needed with full confidence that Americans would not persecute a minority.

Yes folks, it is our fault for being liberal and with a liberal Congress and a liberal President, we should immediately pardon Major N and arrest the first responders.

It happened on the watch of the Commader in Chief and like Bush it should be reported on the daily or weekly death count. Obama should not care about the military casulaties, after all his job is to heal the Bush damage, where jihadist hated us. Obama goal is to make jihadist love us and to hell with the military and with security at Ft Hood or other bases.

When Obama was informed of the jihadist murders, he spent the first two minutes thanking those who made his conference a sucess. I think, once again Obama put the military in its proper place--which is second to Obama's agenda.

I don't know if the two are entirely separate though. I expect that when this guy is interviewed he'll be spouting all sorts of jihadi rhetoric, right out of a bin Laden speech. He'll state that it was a premeditated act of jihad against the enemies of Islam. He will consider himself a martyr for Islam, etc.

So far what we know this guy was a very outspoken, outlandishly outspoken, hard core Muslim, who loudly criticized the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as wars against Muslims. Witnesses are saying that he was screaming "Allah akbar!" while firing on his victims. How could we not consider that when considering his motive?

Really, G, that's just dumb. This could have happened just as easily under Bush's or President McCain's watch as much as any other president's. As if the president has any kind of control of the military at this level.

The thing that strikes me is that they allowed this guy to run around bad mouthing the American military mission in Iraq and Afghanistan and talk like a loon. Other psychiatrists and soldiers sound like they were spooked by this nut. They should have put him in the stockade a long time ago. The Commander in Chief must start acting like the his office or we should impeach him.
