No one seems to want to admit the truth that a number of Moslems in our armed forces are anti semitic, have lauded the suicide bombings in Israel and do not represent the best of America. The liberals would have you believe otherwise but a Moslem soldier murdered several GI's in Iraq two years ago as well. Better screening is needed to find out if we are allowing anti semites and trojan horses into our military.

For the record, since our 911 Islamist terrorists have conducted bombings that have claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people in Israel, Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Indonesia, and Turkey (ALL Moslem countries) as well as in England, Spain, Fiji, The Phillipines, and other several other countries.

When are we going to get our heads out of the sand and admit that there is such a thing as Islamic terror? Of the twenty countries attacked since our 911 by these fundamentalists only five have relations with Israel so blaming Israel for this wave of international terrorism is groundless. These people do not like Christians, Jews, or America and it's time we stop pretending otherwise.

No, I am not at all saying we should ban Moslems from anything. What I am saying is that we need to screen people from serving in the U.S. Military, our armed services, police, secret service, etc. that may harbor deep hatreds towards another group. That group could be Jews, Christians, or Moslems. It could be Hispanics, or it could be gays. I am in favor of the President repealing the "don't ask don't tell" rule in the Military but I would hope that before he does this he makes certain that the military screens recruits and enlistees about any deep antipathies they have towards gays before they are permitted to join the military lest we do not have some crazy killing gay soldiers in the future. All of us to some degree harbor some prejudices, but we need to screen out those who harbor deep hatreds towards ANY other group.

I don't think that in normal times the specialists ask generic questions like that and I do believe that there does exist proper screening for people with serious mental issues or hatred but when recruiters are pressured to sign up new recruits the screening process, unfortunately, falls by the wayside and these days there are not exactly people lining up to join the military so you have to be very obviously and overtly crazy before they will refuse your enlistment. Things that happened yesterday are likely to happen again to some other group until we weed out those who should not be serving in our armed forces.
