Prosecutors' Immunity
by Nunajer Bidnis

I can think of absolutely no sound reason for immunity-esque protection for any member of law-enforcement or the judicial system...excepting undercover misdemeanors. Protection of any type ranges from tacit support of illegal actions to a license to kill. Prosecutors are part of the District Attorney's office...this office ought have no privilege, protection or immunity whatsoever.

In fact, law enforcement and the judiciary need be so honest, law abiding and operationally transparent that their positions ought be constantly treated as if they were on parole...watch-dogged to the point of dotting their Is and crossing their Ts to avoid even accidental impropriety. In what other fashion could we be assured that citizen, civil and human rights are actively being protected--especially from rogue protectors? i.e., officers, prosecutors and judges.

Frankly, that constitutional law protects lawyers is--in and of itself--a violation of constitutional protection by the judicial system ruling-in protections for itself...tantamount to an executive order granting one's executive-self immunity from executive misconduct--ridiculous.
