I actually played a very, very minor and indirect role in today's response to this situation at Ft. Hood. I am disgusted by the media. The islamo-apologists are apparently one and the same as our libby-leftard so-called journalists. This guy started balking at his military service immediately after 9-11 because he had sympathies with those thugs. Period. Seems that while the Army was a good enough mechanism for him to go to medical school, once it crossed path with the Allah-nuts, post 9-11, he was no longer happy about his service contract. He actually looked at ways to buy out his debt to the Army in order to get out. He expressed radical, militant pro-muslim ideology many times, often contrary to the standard of discipline and decorum required of a military officer. To have a field grade officer behaving this way would of course bring condemnation upon him from his fellow soldiers. That condemnation, even if tinged with some anti-muslim sentiment, is perfectly understandable, but the back story the media is seeking feverishly at this hour is that Hasan was a victim. I'm glad he's not dead. I can't wait until they strap him down, unarmed, and give him the lethal injection this traitorous scum so richly deserves. This guy should go to G'tmo until he's dispatched to visit Allah. IM

I always have a sense of solidarity when you show up IM. Not that we always agree, but I like the "feel" of you on the board. That being said.......I've noticed your absence here and I hope all is well with you.

Anyone who goes into the military should be prepared to go wherever he/ she is sent. No whining, no excuses. The soldier belongs to the military unit he/she is assigned to. Apparently this fellow had other ideas. You've probably accurately described him. He should definitely fry for what he's done.
