Jealously sitting here in my hinterland kitchen trying to pretend I couldn't care less about y'alls fun night.

I can't hardly believe this, but after dropping my wallet and then finding it later out in the middle of the street, I went and lost it A SECOND TIME (must've dropped it in the cab I shared w/rundeep) after we left that second bar (the one where rundeep almost walked out w/o her laptop) and apparently the cabbie's next fare (a wonderful, kind-voiced woman) found it, called me this morning and is sending it to me at her own expense!

Who says New Yorkers aren't the best damn people on God's green earth! (or would be, if it weren't for the Yankees) Anyway, I'm betting that's where you left your cane - our bartendress probably started dancing with it after we left.
