Miley is an extraordinary young woman who puts out into the world nothing but love and peace. Although I used to ignore the near constant criticism of her, I decided that taking the high road was leaving the field to the haters. Hannah Montana's ratings DID go down after this sad episode. To the point where other kid's shows could compete with it. It's only now, 18 months later, that it's starting to dominate again. Now, when I hear or see criticism of her, I respond quickly, and sometimes forcfully. I am not the only one. The constant criticism of people, spurred on by the anonymity of the internet, is causing everybody to dig in. For instance, country music has become balkanized with competing and grenade throwing partisans. Etc.
