This story could be bullshit; but if it's not then I'm glad he at least got the $9 million out of it.

It's sad the judicial and legislative branches have begun acting like we are a dictatorship of the executive branch on all matter concerning security.

Who appointed most of those Judges? We are now seeing the effects of what was done to our Judicial system in the last 8 years.

With Sotomayor having replaced Souter, we now have a 6-3 Republican-Democrat split in the Supreme Court, but still the same old 5-4 split between the insanely conservative and everyone else. Most of the federal judiciary isn't tilted quite that wildly to the right, but you're right that it's tilted pretty strongly, and we're seeing the effects of that. The Republicans are no longer a party of government restraint. They're a party in favor of a kingly president -- at least when he's part of their own party. This discretion to near-absolute authority for the Executive in security matters is part of that.

I MUCH prefer a judge that follows the Constitution in his decisions.. Name ONE democrat that would fit that description!

But Hootie.. you don't even understand the idea of national sovereignty. How can YOU presume to judge our JUDGES??

You are more than a bit like a blind art critic, say I.

Sorry but I didn't get the thing with the cats. Did they think it was a cat box also frequented by rats?

Weird.
