I wonder what the rate of HIV is in China. That wasn't mentioned in the article, but since the most popular form of birth control seems to be abortion, there's apparently not a whole heck of a lot of safe sex going on.

It must be nearly non-existent. According to the article, the Chinese can't figure out how to have sex, so how would they contract it?

It's low (ca. 0.1% - for comparison the US is about 0.4%). Though that number is probably misleading somewhat; the people cited in the article are more cosmopolitan - the overall HIV rate includes the hundreds of millions of people who have never needed to know about HIV because they've been within 100 miles of someone afflicted by it.

Hilarious! 1.4 billion people and they supposedly don't know how to have sex? 2000 years in continuous existence as a people, inventors of paper, porcelin, fire crackers, type face, and many other things, and they don't know how to have sex?

What a freaking JOKE!
