3 out of 4 ain't bad . . .
by Little Mama

. . . but the response to LW1 is misguided. "Don't talk to your mom!, I, the Great Prude, hereby give you permission to vibrate." Huh? LW has an open relationship with her mom. Why automatically assume that it's time to end that?

And woodworking? Seriously?

I know I saw that and thought really? The mother is just going to skip down the hall pretending it is some new and wonderful hobby.

I think that was probably a bit tongue in cheek, about the woodworking. Prudie was saying, perhaps mom didn't want to know all that much.

I mean, what is the girl THINKING? Mom, I want to pleasure myself, this needs discussion? Why?

If this "open relationship" so clearly meant that LW could talk about it with her mom, she wouldn't be writing to Prudence in the first place.

When my daughter came to this point in her life the only communication I got was that I had to replace her spinbrush toothbrush about once a week.

I finally figured it out and brought it up in a conversation that the spinbrushes were for her TEETH.

Niether one of us could keep a straight face whenever we discussed teeth brushing again.

But I purchased a "small appliance" that I left discreetly in her room. Rock on Baby!!!

Ouch! ohlamb! Using a spinbrush there sounds painful!

I can only guess ....I didn't ask and she didn't tell and we were both ok with that.

I don't imagine she was using the spinning part. The whole thing vibrates, after all.

In indoor gardening its recommended to turn on an electric tooth bush and hold the handle part against the branches of blooming tomato plants to help with pollination.

And all around multi-use tool :P
