Interesting though circular logic: the US stock markets are higher as an increasing percentage of US MNC sales are from outside the US. The emerging and other stock markets take cue from the markets in the US, and end up higher as well, apart from inherent strength in such economies.

Just goes on to show, how we (emerging part of the world) are so impacted by a hegemony that was.. the world is interdependent, finally, or, shall we say impacted by each other in ways we scarcely knew was possible.
