Most polls show the bias of the pollster, no matter how hard that bias pollster tries to hide/avoid it. Its not a secret that polls, political, scientific, or sociological in nature cannot be trusted, the slightest word difference, hell in some studies, even a slight change in lighting, or an extremely brief conversation with the test giver can cause bias in one way or another. Humans are not reliable, they don't even know what they are thinking half the time. Humans are fickle something as simple as calling a person stupid or smart will effect how they do on a test, even if it is a complete stranger who admits to having no expert experience in the area being tested. Really pretending that studies are "true" or even accurate is a silly fantasy used by people to further their own bias belief. Studies have shown that liberal studies tend to prove liberal views, while conservative studies tend to prove conservative studies, the bias is obvious to anybody who cares to see it, of course nobody will because they are only interested in viewing studies that further their belief. Global cooling is a perfect example of this, scientists jumped to a conclusion and everybody followed it, they found "proof" of global cooling, as well as ways to "stop" it, and they also found proof that global cooling would destroy the world were it not changed. Turns out it was all nonsense, in the end most studies are little more than propaganda for that person's personal view, tthe scientific method when used correctly is very accurate, however most studies do not use that method and instead make thinly disguised excuses for why its ok for them to only use part of, or none of it to do their fuzzy math.
