With the state of our two party system, we're doomed.

I don't think so. Next year at about this time, it's going to be gridlock. The Democratic majority in the House and Senate have 12 more months. Then we're back to what we need from our government: NOTHING! I don't care if they pass another bill for the next three years. Just so long as things stop going in the current direction.
