the war is just starting
by Fenella

what obama and his people want to do, to have government bureaucrats decide who is too fat and punish them accordingly, to take away the bulk of our income, to destroy the free enterprise system, which is supposedly based on our greed, and have the feds owning companies, which they promptly run into the ground and then announce that capitalism does not work, to have party members deciding who gets what after they first decide who needs what, we don't want it. We don't want our children chanting the praises of the great leader. At least alot of us don't. Those who want it and those who don't cannot live in the same country. We both can't get what we want. These issues and the national polarization are deadly serious.

Be smart Americans, don't you realize you can vote yourselves whatever you want, that is the lib message. It is very tempting, I admit. To stop creating wealth and to take it from others, it sounds nice. What libs want to do, to create a majority of citizens who pay no tax and who receive massive entitlements, whole another party of the citizenry is taxed to the max, thus creating poverty and permanent control for the government over our lives, we have to face it. Conservatives are just beginning to realize what they are up against, not politics as usual, but determined ideologues who admit that Mao is their hero.

"War?"

Who's at "war?" Aren't we all Americans here? WHy are you trying to start a "war?"

That's the Right's problem these days...you want to tear everything down and build...nothing. You want dissent, division, and...."war."

I think most sensible Americans reject that kind of craziness, though. I certainly do.

Your argument runs out of steam the moment you start this "have government bureaucrats decide who is too fat." Anyone who believes that sort of crap has lost their mind.

oh, but they haven't. Part of the plan is to let insurance companies offer "rewards" to people who are thin, meaning punishing people who are fat. You might be fine with it, but he's not crazy.

Yes, I would agree that insurance companies ALREADY do that kind of thing by increasing premiums on people who smoke or deynying coverage to people who have an existing condition. Insutance is a percentage game. It's in their best interest to insure people who are likely not to use their coverage. For goodness sakes hasn't anyone ever purchased car insurance?

But to suggest that that's somehow about to START because of President Obama's attempt to reform healthcare or anything associated with the Democratic party is just a load of crap.
