Following the election of George Bush two states went Democratic...NJ & Virginia!

Pattee, the bright spot in this is that Governors, Lt. Govs, Attorneys Gen, don't have a vote on national bills. This off-year election doesn't mean that much anyway. It does give a heads up to counter the complacency that seems to have set in.
