also, in those elections yesterday, very low voter turn out from young people and the Black community.

so, don't shoot your wad just yet..

remember, the economy can and will turn around...when that happens, he will be elected for a second term.

10months served and 38 months to go.. but, there are some here that think he has been in office for the last 8 years and 10 months..LMAO

Well then shame on them for being so liberal lazy and not coming forth and voting their convictions, if in fact that was the reason, or may have it been because they have given up on our Nobel Prize winning President and have decided to put down their Kool-Aid glasses; another possibility for the low turnout? Interesting!

The positive side: Obama does give a good speech and does have two lovely children.

Have a good posting day.

VA is like a swinging single, they change governors like a college boy changes girlfriends...regular and very often.

NJ is a suburb of NY and there is a hillbilly element from Freehold to Delaware. Not to mention Corzine seems to do all the wrong things all the time...perhaps this is one case where change is for the better.

This is not a referendum on President Barack Hussien Obama, although he did campagin for Deeds and Corzine, it is just voter discontent with local issues.

On the bright side BIll Owens D soundly beat Glenn Becks lap dog Doug Hoffman in the NY 23rd district. In that I would say the voters rejected Beck and Caribou Barbie more than the candidate.

Simple and you can try to cut it any way you want, including trying to justify and rationalize the loss, but at the end of the day the population, in general, appears to have voted against the current trend of over taxation, aggressive spending and out of control government. Good for our fellow Americans......it took them a while; however, it appears that they may now have finally awoken out of their star struck stopper. Obama is toast is now being buttered.

Have a good posting day.

Don't count on the economy Cotton
by Cuchillofile
With a deficit and debt skyrocketing at an unprecedented rate look for a big devaluation of the dollar resulting in ever climbing interest rates and big increases in energy costs. Obama could end up with same type of economy Carter had at the end of his term remember double digit inflation and 15-20% interest for home mortgages. You do remember don't ya
