Ekman claims to detect signs of lying in Heene's actions. I bet he did this after the truth was known. Of course, after the fact, even I could "detect" signs of lying. Have his methods been tested in double-blind experiments? If not, he is no more reliable than someone who claims to read cards with ESP, and has been shown the cards in advance!

Lie detectors are infamous for their unreliability. Despite what purveyors of this particular form of charlatinism would have you believe, they say nothing about the ability of people to hide emotions.
