Sales numbers are out....
by Wahbooz

And while those who praised Ford for their profit, the numbers are even better for GM. Ford posted a 3% increase in saled, while GM posted a 4% increase. Their Japanese competitor said their increase was less than 1%.

And by the way, I'll put my GM products up against anyones foreign product, when it comes to reliability. I haven't hidden the fact how reliable my GM products are. As I've said before, I have owned 4Chevy Silverados, the oldest of my vehicles now has in excess of 130,000 miles and still runs like a top. My Silverado with the least mileage is at 59,000+. I've owned MonteCarlos, Impalas, as well as Caprices. Only one time has a GM product tested my resolve. So I don't really care what anyone else has to say.

Cash

for

Clunkers.

Let's see next quarters numbers. I doubt they'll be as good, by quite a stretch.

P.S. If you don't really care what anyone else has to say, why post?

Because it jumps the gun on those who would want to tell me how wonderful Toyota is, that's why.

Does that bother you, knowing I care less?

Sure, Cash For Clunkers made a difference. But note how poorly Toyota did compared to Ford and GM.
