Is the federal government getting too big and powerful?
by wmou2

To me which way you answer that question defines you as a political conservative or liberal.

Is that correct?

I think the federal government is way too big and powerful and wish we could get congress to only do those things enumerated in the constitution. That makes me pretty far right.

"General Welfare" does not give the federal government the authority to treat us as a nanny treats a 12 year old. We're supposed to be Free.

There are 2 czars who prefer Mao to Stalin........and personally.......Obie prefers Castro.

They both like to smoke.

Of course it is....and republicans are a big part of the problem. Right now the democrats are putting it into overdrive though.

Most of the tea party attendees are not republican partisans. They tend to vote republican only to stop democrats. It's encouraging to see there are still some Independent spirits left in the US.

When will federal power stop growing? It's a monster.

The democrats might worry that this song is far more popular today than ever.
