I have been listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio this week for the first time ever and I will have to say that I like what I hear.

Sean Hannity can drive me nuts. And Glen Beck is a little too out there. But the Rush message (that I've heard so far) is nothing but sane.

I plan to listen more.

You're a Republican. Even if Hillary had been the Dem nominee and had won the election,you'd be running into the arms of Rush. Call Rush's show and tell him you are a conservative who supports gay marriage and early-term abortions and see what happens.

Limbaugh, Beck and those other whining, self-proclaimed victim crypto-fascists than I've ever been.

I plan to listen less.

Other than that, I'm okay with those guys.

I think that Medved and Prager are insufferably pompous, yet they seem more thoughtful than Beck, Hannity and Limbaugh. I think it's the fact that Beck et al. are entertainers and as such there is an incentive to go forthe cheap shot and the low common denomiator.

I'm a moderate (practical) con. I have no need to be "accepted" by the Rush group or any conservative group. I just am what I am.

And btw..... for me, abortion is ALWAYS wrong. But I am okay with it being legal. I am NOT okay with partial birth abortion - not ever. It shouldn't be legal.

And it just makes sense to support marriage - even between two people of the same gender - over rampant promiscuity.

I'm good with my beliefs.

What's the big deal with that?

it is hard for me to believe you weren't calling into the show and offering "dittos" for a very long time now.

I have not noticed Rush whining yet. And I don't see any victimhood there either.

I don't like Beck's ADHD style - it makes me nervous. And I really avoid overly emotional types (real or faked). I am not an emotional person and lots of gushing emotion makes me uncomfortable. So I'm not a Beck fan.

Hannity I can take in small doses.

I don't agree with any of them all the time.

I have a brother whose political opinions are lifted whole from Rush. Now, he's very into Glenn Beck, which means he's given up on quality control completely.

No prob. Your belief was wrong. This week was the first time I have EVER listened to Rush. And I do not do call -ins to any show. Not ever.

I watched Hannity's interview of Rush ( only a part of it) and decided to listen to Rush's radio show.
