What do those girls think?

You know, the ones who last year had acid sprayed into their faces as punishment from a Taliban member because they were on their way to school?

Clearly the elections were handled poorly. But you don't throw out the baby with the bath water, and you certainly don't reward scum like Al-Queda and the Taliban for the wrong doing of a few.

Every war has moments where strategy needs to be adjusted, and this war of winning the peace in Afghanistan is no different.

Let's keep our elected officials and the UN feet to the fire and make sure this mistake does not happen again, and let's keep killing the bad guys.

One-sided, to say the least

The attack in question was abominable, of course, but out of context. Many Afghans have paid with their lives for the U.S. invasion who never would have died otherwise. Many have been tortured, remanded for torture, held in Gitmo, etc. Their country is in ruins....the main cash crop, opium poppies. Almost all of them resent the foreign invader who's occupied their country for eight long years.

And you babble about "winning" this war?

Absurd. If you think Karzai's significantly different than the Taliban, you're a fool.
