Hmm. Blaming it all on the UN are we?
by candoxx

HILARIOUS! It is so obvious that ALL this is our fault, Bush's fault, and apparently soon to be Obama's fault, that all one can do is LAUGH at such articles.

What I find really interesting is that Abdullah, someone who reflects the other part of the elite in Afghanistan, the one that is much more tolerant of women's rights, just simply withdrew.

He sure as heck is not betting his horses on the USA and NATO, now is he?

And by the way, Mr. Hitchens, didn't you claim back when we debated going in there that it was just a police action and we'd go in, get Bin Ladin and get right out? The Taliban was just something in our way, you claimed.

So are you a lier or fool, which is it?

No, you nut, Hitchens isn't blaming it ALL on anyone.

If you even read the article you would see that he is taking the UN to task for allowing corrupt and useless elections to occur, and for firing the one UN representative who complained about it.

Please explain how this is not criticism worthy.

You are the NUT if you think anyone is to blame in a superpower occupied country but the superpower...or the opposition to the superpower, which defines a lot as well.

That is what goes on when you have an invasion and an occupation, much as you imperial apologists try to chew the bone to the point it is unrecognizable.

THe United states is an occupier, with an occupying army.

What precisely is it that you idiots do not understand about that?

Your reason for occupation is banal ... it could be for your notion of "freedom", to spread Christianity, for oil or for freaking POMMEGRANITES, but you are still OCCUPIERS, INVADERS.

What is so intellectually taxing about that, you NUT.

Hello in there. I have wanted to get the hell out of Afghanistan for many years now. I wanted a very, very limited action post-9/11 which was to kill as many Al Queda types as possible, and get out. I've been consistent with that for years. We accomplished whatever we could accomplish in Afghanistan well within a year of the invasion.

I am not a member of the Trilateral Commission, and if I was I would not know you exist, nor would I be communicating with you through the Fray. I am not a member of the evil "YOU" that you forever believe is tormenting you personally and running the world, Candoxx. You are really not that important. You are having some of delusions of grandeur again. Get help.
