I'm Confused!

Spin, spin, spin.

On October 20 Obama congratulated Karzai for agreeing to another election because the first one was fraudulent.

Now Obama congratulates Karzai for winning the election when the other candidate withdrew in protest of fraudulent setup for the runoff.

All of a sudden the first election was legitimate?

Ring, ring.

Wait, I have to answer the phone.

Yeh, yeh, oh. Well, I guess I see....

That was a political boss from Chicago. He said that was how elections were run in Chicago.

I guess that explains it.

Karzai is a US puppet and had to win by hook or by crook. The other candidate (Abdallah) must have been promised some money in lieu of not fighting the runoff. We buy our way off everywhere :)

Barry & Karzai communicate with their black berry and can down load their speeches right to their teleprompters. abdalha abdalla can’t. He still using walkman..

LOL

OK it is a guess

Like a lot of immature people here your focus is only trying to get Obama for something instead of hoping to see the USA be successful at something. Hey, the Dems \ Libs were the same when GWB was President but not this crap all comes from the the right.

No on can say for sure why the other candidate dropped out but it sure likes like a scam, doesn't it? Either way it really doesn't matter since regardless of who won the election would of been folly and neither candidate would been acceptable by a larger enough majority to effecitivly run the nation.

"No on can say for sure why the other candidate dropped out but it sure likes like a scam, doesn't it?"

Ok we can't say for sure, but whats wrong with his stated reasons? The first election was pretty compromised and there was no reason to expect a better result the second time. Plenty of democratic opponents boycott "elections" for the same reason.

Sure you did.

Hmmm, let's see. When did Karzai get into office? Oh, yeah. That would have been when Bush was president. Of course, he is Obama's problem now, but let's not forget that Obama didn't get to start with a clean slate.

Now, what would you suggest? I won't hold my breath, since you never seem to go any further than criticism. You aren't in the business of solutions.

The this is Bush's fault whine is getting old. Obama was the one who claimed he was the source of hope and change. Funny but we haven't seen too much of either.

BTW

Unemployment keeps rising despite Obama's "answers".

It took 2 years for the unemployment rate to reach bottom after Reagan's tax cuts in 1981. I realize you are in a hurry to declare Obama a failure, but most of us understand that a mess that took Bush 8 years to create might just take a little longer to fix.

Re: What's new?

You want some cheese with that whine? How come Obama peacocks around about all the jobs he has saved/created yet the unemployment keeps going up and way over what he said it would?

SInce Obama apologized to the world, we have now been hit with the first domestic terrorism since 9/11. Apparently they didn't buy his puffed out lip contrition.

Funny how when Bush was President the stock market was at record high and unemployment was at 5% yet you and your buds called that time the darkest in American history. Now unemployment is at 10.2%, banks are failing left and right, GM is looking for another handout and you and your buds are singing, "Happy days are here again".

you are blaming Obama for a wackjob Army major who went off the rails and started shooting our own guys?

Unreal.

Bush borrowed and spent $6 trillion bucks. Reagan did the same in 1981, he borrowed $2 trillion. You don't see the link between government spending and wall street? Lot's of people criticized his deficits and the impact on the national debt. Other criticized him for his appointments (think Fema, the SEC....and the secretary of defense).

The current unemployment rate is a slide that started because of Bush. When Reagan took office we were in a pretty bad economy....one that started with Nixon/Ford and continued into 1981. Reagan got his tax cuts and the unemployment got worse until 1983.

If you were willing to let Reagan go for two years before unemployment started to get better, why do you think Obama should have turned things around in 10 months?

Obama and friends want this incident to be about a whackjob who was stressed out by the internal conflict of having to Iraq where he might have to fight fellow Muslims. That way we can even blame this on Bush.

Wait a minute. This guy was a shrink who would never have to pull a trigger. Further, he sought advice from the same cleric who advised some of the 9/11 terrorists and went to the same mosque that some of the 9/11 terrorists went to. Wow, what a list of strange circumstances.

My observation stands that the first domestic terrorism act since 9/11 happened on Obama's watch. There is an old biblical saying that rudders steer boats not captains. However, it also says that the rudder takes the boat where the captain wants.
