does that mean we're all better off picking the 2 year lease option on GM's new "Chevy Volt", rather than purchasing it outright?

maybe the gasoline engine isn't dead after all . . .

If you are stupid enough to think that the Chevy Volt is a green car, then go ahead and get the 2 year lease. The rest of think that a $50,000 Chevy sedan with "limited availability" is just greenwashing by GM, a company guilty of making the largest and least fuel efficient vehicles is can sell.

The batteries used on the Hybrids are supposed to last 100,000 miles. For most of us that would be about 6 or 7 years.
