The "Sugar Daddy" Metaphor...

I agree with Jonah's point that the "I can transform ya," line is intended as a play at the sugar daddy metaphor, I will transform you (specifically, your appearance) by purchasing you things--but I also think that the line has unintended secondary meanings. I don't mean to make this point so baldly, but clearly in this song Brown is singing to a woman, and as anyone who saw Rhianna's mug shot can attest, his past methodology for transforming women's appearances and behavior seems to be blunt trauma to the face. Watching the music video really drives this point home, as Brown is dressed up like a ninja, swinging a sai, and singing "I can transform ya." In what ways do ninjas romantically court women? Aren't they more known for having so little honor that they'd assassinate a woman? In other words, how can anyone not see this as totally sinister? Yeah, good song, but really, as a first single after the debacle, kind of oblivious.
