Apparently Green Lantern has not learned yet what happens when things go down the drain. As I told them about the fluff piece on toilets, when water goes down the drain, it is not like a black hole. The water does not disappear forever. Particularly where the water is treated within the same aquifer or where there is onsite septic, there is no loss of water to the local system. Even when the sewage is piped out of the aquifer, there may be a zero loss if there is a parallel system upstream in the watershed.

Sheesh. City people who have never seen the real world.
