I watched the videos online, think there's 2 or 3 of them.

From the videos it looks like the short, fat, female cop was the only one that got carried away and is out of line.

As for Hanoi Johnny droning on and on during the event...what can you say? He cant even control an auditorium full of kids and a few fat, power hungry, campus police.

It would never happen at a Bush speech. The kid would never have been allowed to be a part of the event in the first place.

I saw last night what Bush has given to those around him if someone gets in that should not. They are to surround them and talk over the protestor and drown him out.

I do not care because you would be blind to any facts about Bush.

You almost have to wonder who was behind it - just himself? More radical Dems? Republicans?

Maybe Kerry's reaction was the smartest one, not to get too involved in this kid's hysteria and self-promotion.

But the college cops need a slapdown. Their behavior was atrocious.

The Taser has given cops a new reason to order another dozen donuts. They can't be bothered to actually handle a problem themselves. Easier to bust out the Taser.

What we need are big cops that can drag someone outside kicking and screaming.

They should be there to protect the speaker (Kerry, in this case) and to prevent any violent confrontations from breaking out.
