It's so nice to see that I wasn't the only one completely taken by surprise the affluence of this 20-something young couple. I enjoyed the movie, but I kept getting pulled out of the film by thoughts of, "Look at the size of that TV!" and "They have a pool?" or "Nice computer set-up." even "No wonder she's failing school, she needs to spend more time hitting the books and less time at the bead table." Yay, for being unaware of privilege! It took a while to get over their obvious wealth. It's distracting when something like the set makes it difficult to become immersed in a film. I am the same age as this couple and I can't image being able to afford a house or apartment like that - especially as a student! Paranormal activity indeed.
