Thank God it’s OVER!
by Gatewood
+1 Reply

I mean if I have to read one more worship homage piece to Michael Jackson this year I am going to barf. He was just a half decent singer with a hand full of dance move taught to him by experts who was overhyped by journalists like you, Dana Stevens. He was never half as good as you thought.

I really do hope that finally This Is It, really is it and that the nation can get off the worship merry go round.

Sheesh!

Don't you know? Many artists sell more albums dead than they ever did while alive. We haven’t heard the last of this by far.

I would LOVE to see Gatewood's list of 10 entertainers more talented than Michael Jackson.

That is easy. In no particular order:

Charlie Chapman

Rogers and Hammerstein

Johnny Carson

Bing Crosby

Frank Sanatra

Baryshnikov

Pavarotti

Cary Grant

Zero Mostel

Ennio Morricone

That was easy.

"Charlie Chapman"? Was that the little tramp guy that the other Monty Pythons kept ignoring?!

The Charlie Chapman I know was a World War I fighter pilot, and according to Rickenbacker he had a colorful machine...I guess that makes him an artist.

He's the guy who invented Chapstick. Wore a bowler hat.

It was originally called Chapman Stick. Charlie changed the name to avoid confusion.
