I never heard of most of those cases, but I do know about Rachel Corrie. She was the American protester who was recruited by Palestinian militants on her college campus, went to the West Bank and sat down in front of a bulldozer, apparently unaware that the driver can't see what's in front of him. Her parents later threatened a lawsuit against the bulldozer manufacturer...not because they had made a dangerous product, but because they were selling it to Israel, so they were probably pretty far left themselves. As for the USS Liberty, it was an isolated incident about 40 years ago.

But anyway, if I do make a pledge to AIPAC, it will be due to biased half-truth-tellers like you.

What is this "half truth" you refer to? Where is this evidence she was "recruited" by Palestinian militants? Where is the proof she was "sitting down"? Although since I never said otherwise in the original post you are the one who is lying by implying I did. What does far left have to do with any of this? Israel was founded by socialists. The word "leftist" in reality means the Jacobins, Girondists and the "Mountain" generally that sat on the left side of National Assembly during the French Revolution. Never having heard of these cases simply proves you are illiterate on this subject. You also obviously aren't interested as with a computer you can look them up instantly.

What you call "the left" made Israel possible in the first place. But you don't care everything about you is a half informed lie. Are you capable of debating anything without getting it mixed up in bogus media generated labels like "leftist"? Trotskyites in the US supported creation of Israel almost to a man, were they "rightists". Poltico-babble is really a cheap way of dodging rhetorical responsibility.

BN, every witness has said the same thing: She was sitting down in front of the bulldozer as a protest. Obviously the driver could not see her, because when the others screamed for him to stop he immediately backed up, which made things even worse. If you go to a construction site today, you will see someone standing next to the bulldozer, telling the driver where to go.

And no one has questioned that there were Palestinian recruiters on her campus, in the form of "guest speakers." And as for the left creating Israel...I have said the same thing constantly, to the point of carpal tunnel syndrome, even on this thread. The left did not turn against Israel until the Soviet Union led the way during the 1967 war.

If that's the case what is an Israeli? They've out killed Palestinians by more the 5 to 1 in the last decade. An army source told the Jerusalem Post: "She was standing behind debris that obstructed the drivers view...." You'll find that on the present Wikipedia entry with a citation of date and article. I've never heard she was sitting down and am certain you made that up.

Wikipedia reports a number of eye-witness recollections, including this one:

"According to the Seattle Times, "Smith, who witnessed Sunday's incident, said it began when Corrie sat down in front of the bulldozer. He said the driver scooped her up with a pile of earth, dumped her on the ground and ran over her twice."[26]

Smith was her fellow protester. But everyone seems to agree on the same things: 1) she was there as a protester, to stop the bulldozers and 2) her death was an accident. I could add that no one with any sense will sit OR stand in front of a freaking bulldozer, but that might bring on further protests.

However, I do agree that Israel is to blame for one reason. They should have kicked her AND her friends the hell out of the country, but were probably afraid that would bring on bad publicity. So look what they got instead.

Bulldozers have no scooping ability they can only push earth or debris in front of them. Somebody has something pretty damned mixed up here. Are you a man? Men tend to know these things, You are not a woman pretending to understand are you? or maybe male by birth but not quite manly? Scotch has me more to the point than usual.
