Dear Mr. Spitzer,

I am trying to reach you because you are right on the mark with your evaluation of the Chamber promoting deceptive science, the elected officials knowing of the matter and doing nothing about it.

I have legal documents of the US Chamber Institute for Legal Reform teaming up with the Manhattan Institute Center for Legal Policy to hire a tobacco scientist to write false science over the mold issue. They wanted something written specifically for judges.

The end product paper is titled "A Scientific View Of the Health Effects of Mold". It cites false authorhip of having a physician author, has no scientific foundation to make the claim it does and makes its way into the courts via amicus briefs of big lobbying pacs. I am aware of one recently submitted by the National Apartment Associaion PAC citing the Chamber paper as the gospel in a case where there are two new born infant deaths in a moldy apartment complex - Arizona.

The poor plaintiff attorney is a sole practitioner up against the mass marketed deceit of multi-million dollar, influential lobbyists.

The other is Kelman literally laughing at the thought that Henry Waxman would hold hearings into the matter. A request was delivered to Waxman's General Counsel in Sept of 2007. The need for the hearing was supported by several non-profits, unions and elected officials. This includes the entire City Council of Boston and 12 New York State Senators. NOTHING!

There is much more to this story that needs to come to light. However, no one seems to be willing to tell it as it involves both parties letting down US citizens while the deceit of the US Chamber flourishes in the courts and in health policy.

In Oct of 2006, the late Senator Kennedy requested a Federal GAO audit into the issue at my urging. When the audit got underway in Feb of 2007, specifically deleted was the aspect of looking into who had conflicts of interest over the matter. This is REALLY bad as the Wall Street Journal had run a front page article of the matter one month earlier in Jan of 2007. The answer was known where the deceit laid when this import aspect was deleted from the audit. <link>

I have documents showing Conyers office knows of it. Waxman's office knows of it. Boxer's office knows of it. The Democrat Senate HELP Committee knows of it. They also know of the devastating impact it is having on the lives of many to this very day. I have MUCH documentation on the subject in the form of emails from them to prove this. Many of the documents I have are in legal form including billing records from the tobacco scientist to the Manhattan Institute and the physician listed author of the Chamber's paper stating under oath he had nothing to do with the US Chamber paper. He did not even know his name was on it.

I have had it! While this deception was originally a Republican problem with Congressman Gary Miller being a key player, it is no longer just Republican. The Democrats have had it in their hands for 3 years to stop this.

Another short video is Kelman discussing the DOJ under former Atty Gen Alberto Gonzales using the deceit to defeat claims of illness in sick children living in military housing. Conyers,who publicly holds himself out to be the big champion of the molid issue - but privately does nothing and is Chair of the Judiciary Committee KNOWS all about this.

Where does one go when even purported proponents turn a blind eye to a very serious matter adversely impacting the health and saftey of thousands of US citizens? All it would take is a three hour Congressional hearing to shut the deceit down. There is alot of money on both sides of the isle involved in this one.
