Be honest, Dave. Do you really think Republicans and the stupid moderates give a tinker's damn? How many hundred stories have we heard and it's for naught when you're dealing with a bunch whose only interest is seeing Obama fail and the country go down the tubes.

I haven't missed KFS at all, I'm sick of the stupid dialogue, day after day.

Phoenix X:

You have come to a door my friend and need to make a decision to either go in or stay on this side.

When I returned from Viet Nam I had no hope whatsoever and a heep of guilt because of what I did and what I experienced. I recall riding through the streets of San Diego from bar to bar, pool table to pool table--I didn't even want to go home to waiting family. I felt betrayed, but couldn't put a finger on anything to prove it then. All I knew was I was back in the world [Funny how we throw that word around] after two long years with nothing to show for it except memories of many sad deaths on each side. I wanted to know so much and couldn't find anyone that could tell me what I needed to know, minister or lay person. And why not?

Because the system that sent me to that fruitless war lied to me, and those that stayed behind could never comprehend what it was like! What was I supposed to do now? Who wanted a Marine Sniper, a killer--not even the lowest of police departments. Now, I could get that job because their "system" is crumbling and they need any body that has the training I received. No way.

The health care plan is a distraction, I've said that over and over again. We don't have an honest system and haven't since our founding. Instead of our country taking advantage of this NEW WORLD; note they were even calling what the bible was saying back then NEW WORLD knowing full well that the lands discovered did not make up the entire earth or world. From as far back as then plans were put in place to take, take, take! None of this was their's to take or give in transactions, but only became of the ways of war.

We did not stay clean Phoenix--we dirtied ourselves up as our European mothers had been doing for centuries. In fact there is a wall that runs across England in which the Romans built. Special killers were imported in because Rome had gotten soft and spread to thin much like America is today. And what were they trying to do? They were trying to conquer more territory--more than they could ever use hence the outposts and walls for defense clear up in England.

While all this was going on travelers moved across the ice bridge, which I believe is only one mile apart and down the coast of present day Alaska to the tip of Chile each moving laterally; each setting up defenses; each having wars until the day Europeans routed them. All these graves will be emptied, but only those with hearts wanting a "NEW SYSTEM" will ever get in.

God does have a plan, its just people haven't familiarized themselves with this plan. He has a purpose for man and that purpose I don't think will go unfulfilled. We all are sinners and neither of us can save the other except first we come to an accurate knowledge.

So, regardless of what happens tomorrow the dead who died today, and in the past, have paid their price of sin. Thjey simply await the resurrection, we on the other hand are living standing and will be judged standing never to get up from death.

Looking back, this information helped me. Not at first, but it kept me from coming totally unglued. Now, research is all I want to do and should I be honored to make it into that thousand years I will work as hard as I can to obtain perfection. You might want to look up what your purpose is in any bible--they all say the same except for some off-the-wall translations.

Seasoldier/Hope you get to feeling better.

If I were you Dave, I'd move to some country where it's better. Perhaps some Muslim country or maybe a European country. I hear that no one ever dies from lack of medical care anywhere else in the world. And I think rape is virtually unheard of everywhere but in the United States.

You might want to consider one of the African or Asian countries. They are virtual utopias from what I've heard; and nobody ever dies or even gets a headache.

I must be the most optimistic of the group. We have been counted out so many times, but manage to come back up again.

Where you see gloom and doom,I see glimmers of hope. Of course we have major problems all over the world, but we seem to muddle through the worst in this Country.

Same with this board. The number of regulars is small, but I also notice many keep peeking in.There is always that chance that a good thread will be formed,as Elaine's proved yesterday.A simple post on a book broughr good memories back to all of us.

Have a good day.The sun will rise tomorrow,I am sure of that.May be hidden by clouds but it will be there!

Two completely different subjects. Obama failure is not = to America going down the tubes, indeed it could be Obama´s failure that puts America on top of the world again.

Of course you have not missed KFS, you still read and post here daily, adding to the stupid dialogue.

The only thing now worth saving in this country is Phoen-X.

All the rest is worth the effort.

If that is the case.I bet Elaine is the happiest one of the bunch! >:o) Somehow,I doubt that is the case, though!

How on earth could you possibly know that, TB? What I meant by my remark is that I always look on the bright side and I have immense hope for my country. Remark like yours was uncalled for.
