Poem has vivid imagery but is a little dense. Nevertheless, the idea that Walden’s pond

was not a clear reflection of the world but rather somewhat polluted and disillusioning

is an interesting theme. No stinky gas emanates from Thoreau's Beans. The poem grows on you.
