John McCain has just introduced a bill that would prohibit the FCC for governing communications on the internet.

In effect, this would de-regulate the net, and thus allow service providers to turn the internet into a toll road.

The GOP has been working this one quietly for years, on behalf of one of ther paymasters, the telecommunicaitions industry.
