Cheney isn't being unpatriotic.

It's his right and duty to criticize the president when he thinks the president is wrong. It's just that Cheney is wrong, as usual. Always was, probably always will be. No news there, let the old man speak what's left of his mind.

Stephanopolous asked Cheney in March 2003 if estimates of $200 Billion for a war in Iraq were right....he said no, he thought that was wildly exaggerated. A figure closer to $50 Billion would sound about right.

Just another thing he was wrong about.

Funny how the new administration makes $200B seem anything but a wild exaggeration...

More like a stately couple's evening out in NYC...

but Obama wasn't pushing a war saying it would be cheap and then it wasn't.....or nearly casualty free (Bush to Pat Robertson in 2003)....and 4100+ GIs died.

Dick Cheney will go down in history as worse than MacNamara. And HE apologized....Cheney of course never will. His grandkids will probably change their names.

MacNamara lost the Vietnam war...

Cheney won the war in Iraq...

Do you think Obama can match this in Afghanistan? He promised he would...

Amen Mayzee7!! The ONLY good thing about this administration is that the normal liberal argument of Bush/Cheney spending too much is now completely null and void. Also, Dick Cheney, if anyone, has the government experience to comment on the new administraion. He's served in many different administrations ever since before Barry Obama was a twinkle in his unwed mother's eye. I'll be happy to spend the next few years watching the new administration's failed attempts at making more and more socialist America.

Dick Cheney "served?" perhaps you've seen some sort of military record the rest of us were unaware of. Otherwise, it seems to me Dick Cheney connived in various posts, elected and unelected, on the public dime. After which he made a fortune at Halliburton, again on the public dime. And then returned to be among he most unaccountable denizens ever of the White House offices. You could not hope for -- in your deluded anti-American dreams -- as many failures on Obama's watch as those with which Cheney has saddled on this country.

Okay, my friend, by saying "served' i meant that he served in the US government, not necessarily the US military. Are you really an Obama supporter who is complaining of conniving behavior on the public dime?? Really?? I find it very sad, yet all too common, that many people, such as yourself, find no problem in socialist agendas such as those possessed by the current administration, afterall, Socialism is the true Anti-American Dream. As far as you believing that Bush/Cheney had more failures than the Obama administration, I think you're delusional. Part of me thinks that even someone like you has the ability to realize that merely allowing someone with Obama's mindset and agenda into the WhiteHouse is a failure in itself.
