Apple Fanboy

Indeed, the new Windows is not only the best operating system that Microsoft has ever produced. It is arguably the fastest, most intuitive, and most useful consumer desktop OS on the market today.
Hopefully from now on, Farhad's critics will stop calling him an Apple Fanboy and just call him what he is: wrong.

How is this wrong? He states an opinion, clearly marking as an opinion (note the word "arguably," meaning some people will argue with the assertion). Most other reviewers I've read say more or less the same thing: Windows 7 is Windows that has most of the usability of OS X. Farhad's buried point is the more interesting one, though: desktop/laptop OSes are becoming less important. I think it's too early to talk about the death of Windows/Mac/Linux, but for many users, cloud computing is their day-to-day existence. I've got a game going in Firefox and could be working on my novel in Safari. I'm not convinced that Word is superior to GoogleDocs except for responsiveness. Give it a year or two and that distinction will be gone. The software I use that couldn't go onto a cloud isn't made by Microsoft.

Your reading comprehension isn't very good, is it?

Whatever point you were trying to make with this thread, you, uh, forgot to make it.

My reading comprehension is just dandy. I even am skilled at making arguments instead of using personal attacks to avoid debate. Perhaps you wished to elaborate on how you think Farhad is wrong. As of now, you haven't made a case for it.

You guys are idiots. You deserve the tech writer you get. If you follow the comments on Mr. Manjoo's articles here, he gets called an "Apple Fanboy" frequently. He is not, but any time you say something positive about Apple, that's what you'll likely hear. So, next time he writes something stupid (which is common), just call him wrong, because this most recent article should be proof he is not an Apple Fanboy. My comment had nothing to do with whether he was wrong about Win7 or not. I don't know, because I haven't used it. Unlike many here, I don't comment on things I don't know about. Is that so effin' hard to understand?

Wait, so if you don't know whether or not I'm wrong about Windows 7 -- because you haven't even used Win 7, and you don't comment about what you don't know -- what are you saying I'm wrong about? (You said, "call him what he is: wrong"; that present tense refers to something I'm presently wrong about, no?)
