You ignored your readers' feedback during the entire series!

The writers repeatedly mention feedback or questions from "a lot of people" or friends. Yet, never once did you write - or at least acknowledge - that you were being criticized here.

I would have respected you if you had. But then again, this exercise showed how out of touch you are, didn't it?

That's OK- once I understood the premise of the series, I couldn't be bothered to read it. OTOH, I always find Slate's readers, by contrast, to have interesting things to say, so I did read some Fray posts and did not regret it.

I actually disagree. I think that the tone changed noticeably in the 2nd week. However, I think that the authors are too far gone into cluelessland to really comprehend the criticism, so their efforts at being slightly less out of touch failed miserably.
