Frankly, I wouldn't give a damn and couldn't be less surprised, were it not for the self-congratulatory tone and pious grandiosity awash particularly of late around here.

I mean, shit you guys. Freaking grow up. You can pretend that you are above the drama of the "old" botf, but it's a huge laugh. This grumbling fire drill revealed who are the drama queens. As much as I dislike Mr Dallas his pals, those blokes would have handled this simple migration with more class than all you clowns could rub together with all your IQ's dumped into a coffee can.

Looks like the Catholics are welcoming conservative Anglican priests in a "win-win" deal, the Anglican conservatives don't have to serve with gays and women and the Catholics fill the thinning ranks of the priesthood.

But this may liberalize the Catholic denomination more than anything.

My gripe is that the Freditors allowed people to congregate at Geezers over the last week or so, knowing full-well they were going to kick them off the board this week. And then, as a "reasonable, eminently respectful solution," Jeremy offered up a board on which no one can post. Pretty douchebag-eriffic way to treat your clientelle, isn't it?

I'll be honest, I've enjoyed the last couple days at Geezers more than I've enjoyed myself at BotF for quite some time. I was actually able to post a few entries without a clutch of lunatics jumping into the thread to disagree with me simply because my name has been associated with "the clique." After months (years?) of asking the powers that be to MODERATE BotF, a couple of folks had taken the matter into their own hands and simply left to set up shop on another board. And just as it started to show the first signs of success, it was shut down with a casual disregard for those who had migrated there (some of whom are long-time Fraysters). So, can you really not see a reason for disappointment and maybe some anger?
